10 Beauty Hacks That Will Change Your Life

Hey Luvs! Bonnie here🌸

So, how many times has it been that you’ve run out of your favorite beauty product in times of need? This almost always happens to me so I compiled a list of beauty secrets/ hacks  that are just cheaper, fast and DIY alternatives  for those days you’re on the GO. Here’s some beauty hacks and ideas that you can thank me for later!

  1. Out of moisturizer? Use olive oil:

Just a few drops will suffice and you can use olive oil on your face, elbows, knees and any part of the body to moisturize. It is 100% natural and keeps your skin healthy and moist but ensure that just a few drops will do!

  2. Makeup remover out! Olive and Coconut oil in:

Coconut and Olive oil not only moisturize your skin but a few drops can be dripped on the cotton to remove your makeup and voila! This also leaves a good glow on the skin, so replace your expensive beauty skin products with these!

3Baby wipes also replace makeup remover:

Another great way to remove makeup is by fearlessly using baby wipes. These are soft, delicate and will do the trick immediately.

4. Dandruff?

Instead of opting for an expensive chemical filled dandruff shampoo, you could use Apple Cider Vinegar. Just spray it on your hair/scalp and leave it be, wash it off after a few minutes to get rid of the smell and you have a natural antidandruff agent at hand.

5. Dry lips and out of Lip Balm?

Lip Balm is a savior for us women, we can’t survive without it (well a little exaggerated but still) but we also keep losing them. So instead of purchasing new ones every time you can whip up on at home by mixing beeswax, cocoa butter, almond & coconut oil over a low flame and store it to cool. You have your very own homemade lipbalm.

6. Use tea bags to treat puffy eyes:

Instead of using eye creams, a most effective cheaper & alternative way to take cold green tea bags and apply it under your eyes for 3-4 minutes to get rid of puffiness or to help tighten your under-eye skin.

7. Alternatives for dry shampoo:

Using translucent powder or starch on your hair gives the same effect when you’re out of dry shampoo.

8. Control frizzy hair:

Experiencing frizzy hair after a hair wash? Instead of serum or any other agents you can alternatively use a soft t-shirt to dry your hair!

9. Make a scrub at home with brown sugar:

Take any favorite body wash of yours and some brown sugar to create a scrub. Applying this to skin washes off dead cells and also leaves a healthy glow.

10. Treat sun-burns, dry itchy skin at home:

Now you have a much easier way to treat your dry itchy skin or sunburn; while taking bath mix the warm water with two cups of oatmeal; this leaves back a moisturized skin.
